Filming & Photography

If you are interested in commercial photography and filming at the airport, please note the following:

Filming and photography are normally possible in the public areas of Lübeck Airport. To obtain permission, you must provide us with a date and time, the reason for filming, planned duration and a description of the location.

Public areas include, for example, the arrival and departure lounge, the access road and car park.

If you wish to film or photograph inside the aircraft, please contact the relevant airline directly as this is not the responsibility of Lübeck airport GmbH. We will help you find the right contact partner.

Please be aware that filming and photography requests may be refused without reason, for example, due to lack of capacity, for political reasons or due to accidents or other real threats.  

In the security area (this includes, for instance, the apron and the aircraft boarding area), filming is only possible under certain conditions and is subject to additional security regulations. It is essential that you submit your request well in advance.

Permission will generally not be given to film or photograph security installations, such as x-ray scanners, or security personnel.

Please understand that it will take a few days to process your request.
